Dr. Suk Young Ahn, DDS

I have been living in Paradise for the past 14 years and have worked as a dental provider at Feather River Hospital Rural Health Clinic for 12 years, where I served all ages in Butte County until I took over Dr. Michelle Borg’s children’s dental practice in 2015. I completed my dental professional training in Loma Linda University School of Dentistry and graduated as a member of the OKU National Dental Honor Society. I am currently a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and North Carolina Dental Society.

I’ve always had passion for children and believe that it is very important to respect them regardless of their age and maturity. I love playing with little ones, laughing with them, and listening to their fascinating stories and ideas. I believe it is a special privilege to be able to help them understand the importance of their oral health in the most gentle and friendly way from a very young age. My goal is to establish a positive dental experience from their childhood so that they will be motivated to continue seeking regular dental care as they grow up without developing any dental fears. I am looking forward to meet you and your children to start positive and fun visits for their oral health at our office!

I am married to a wonderful husband, Hyung An, who is an internist, working as the medical director at the Hospice House of Feather River Hospital in Paradise. I am very blessed with two awesome children, Timothy (19) and Janelle (18). Our family loves skiing, backpacking, singing, and playing musical instruments. We also love to spend time together in nature.
